CO Biggs Farm

You may or may not know that about 6 months ago bought three baby goats on a whim and we being fast learners...figured out that there was little if anything that those goats would produce that we wanted. We don't want goats milk or goat cheese or goat ice cream which apparently is better for you than regular ice cream and we didn't want goat meat so we decided they would be better at a place where someone actually appreciated them. We gave them to a lady west of town who has other goats so it seemed like a nice fit. Now that the goats are gone we are in the free range chicken business. Today we had 28 baby chicks arrive in the mail that are sure to keep kids busy cleaning the chicken yard, collecting eggs etc. I've told the kids too that the day will come when we 'process' these chickens and despite my explainations about how store bought chickens are raised they think it unthinkable that we would eat these birds eventually. Either way that's where we'll end up if the raccoons and foxes don't 'process' them first. - Daniel
