School's Out
Today was the kids last day of classes. We are all really happy that we made it through the year :). Kameron is now a Junior. She seriously considered participating in virtual high school. There were a few things she would miss out on - like being on the yearbook committee. So she has decided to give her high school another year at least. Kelsie is now a Sophmore and still as social as ever. She hasn't even been home today because she has people to see and places to go. She was given about 5 or 6 books from a friend of hers and is really excited about getting to them this Summer. She has decided she wants to take honors classes this coming year which I am very excited for. She is a excellent writer - she has posted some of her "thoughts" on her my space page and they are very impressive. I know my space is not the best place to be so I will get her to post some of the writings on here so you all can enjoy. Jedi is now on the top of the chain:) He is an 8th grader and next yearbook he will have color pictures (he was a little disappointed they received so much attention). He received his last cast (we hope) a couple of weeks ago. Most of you have seen it - but for those of you that have not - it is a short arm now AND waterproof. Thank goodness - I was tired of wrapping his arm before he could shower and he was sick of his skin flaking off and itching. Last weekend he went swimming all weekend so it will be an interesting look when he gets it off next Tuesday. I will take some pictures to post so you can see it. Sometimes I find myself wondering where the years went...

Kameron-I'm sure that you won't regret your decision. Despite the problems with public schools, there are some activities (with their corresponding life long memories and friendships) that can only be found there. Are you going to be a photographer for yearbook as well as your other duties? Kelsie-I would really like to read some of your work. If you don't want to post them here maybe you could e-mail me some or tell me how I can access them on your "myspace" page (I don't know how that works really) I tried to get onto your site but I guess for security reasons you need to do something on your end in order for me to go on your site? Jed-I glad to here that your new cast is allowing you to have a little more fun. When are you scheduled to go to scout camp this year? Are all of you going to that bible camp again? Send me an email to let me know what's going on for the summer.
Man, in some ways I wish school was out for us. On the other hand, I then become the one who everyone turns to for entertainment. The last few weeks are crazy with all the activities going on. Luckily, the kids music programs were spread out over the year. I think it's been worse since I've had sick kids non-stop since Mothers Day. Emma is still sick. I'd sure like to move on to something else. It was good to here about you all. Hope you have a great summer and We hope to see you sometime.
Love Connie
